Narrative
BOLIVAR, OH – A 44-year-old bicyclist died Friday after a vehicle struck him along the interstate in north-central Tuscarawas County.
The incident happened on I-77 southbound near mile marker 93, which is in the city of Bolivar.
Police say that a southbound Chevy Malibu struck the cyclist in the left southbound lane. He died at the scene after falling into the median.
Authorities identified the deceased as Bartholomew James Kosins Snow of Xenia.
The driver of the Chevy did stop to render aid and speak with authorities.
A full investigation is underway.
