Narrative
POETOWN, OH – A teen motorcyclist died Sunday after a two-vehicle crash along a highway in southwestern Brown County.
The accident happened around 7 p.m. on OH-774 at Maple Bethel Road, which is about 36 miles southeast of Cincinnati.
Police say that a southbound motorcycle and a northbound SUV entered the intersection at the same time, causing the first vehicle to hit the second. The SUV then left the roadway and crashed.
The 17-year-old motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
Medics transported the other driver to a Cincinnati hospital with serious injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
