Narrative
WAPAKONETA, OH – Two men and one women sustained injuries Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision along the highway in central Aglaize County.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m., emergency crews reported to a major crash at OH-197 and Conant Road in the northwestern outskirts of Wapakoneta. This is about an hour north of Dayton.
Police say that a southbound vehicle T-boned a pickup truck after failing to heed a stop sign at the intersection. The impact caused the pickup truck to overturn.
Medics transported both drivers and a female passenger from the pickup truck to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities say that intoxication may have been a factor in causing the accident.
