Narrative
TOLEDO, OH – A two-vehicle collision in south-central Lucas County injured three people on Thursday night.
Around 8 p.m., emergency teams were called to the Anthony Wayne Trail near Sherwood Avenue in the city of Toledo. This is just west of the Maumee River in the Beverly neighborhood.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the cause or circumstances of the accident except to say that it involved a black car and a white car.
Medics transported two people from the black car to University of Toledo Medical Center with critical injuries.
One person from the white car went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
